At Movement Rx, we live and breathe proper movement patterning and specialize in working with functional fitness, yoga, and running enthusiasts. We are Doctors of Physical Therapy who are also Strength & Conditioning coaches, and we uniquely combine human performance and physical therapy to allow you to be active at the level you want while removing pain and injury risk.
Our mission is to help people get better, faster. That includes both performance (getting better) and pain (getting better). Whether you are a Navy SEAL, a recreational athlete, or someone looking to simply walk without pain, we focus on improving your movement patterns, eliminating your body’s restrictions, and providing you an injury-free pathway.

What to Expect
You’ll meet Dr. Theresa or Dr. Megan at GFit for your 60 minute session.
Wear what you’d normally wear to Ginseng or GFit – you’re probably going to sweat.
The first visit is an evaluation to determine the cause of any issues, develop goals, and begin treatment.
After each visit you will receive a personalized program to work on before the next visit. This program is key to your improvement. It’s your homework, and neither Dr. Theresa nor Dr. Megan are lenient graders!
Our goal is to help you achieve in less than 4 visits what you’d normally achieve in 12-20 visits in a traditional physical therapy or chiropractor environment.
We are not the cheapest service around and we take a limited number of insurance plans*. But you will very likely spend less with us to fix your issue than anywhere else.
*We can write you what is called a Superbill that you can submit to your health insurer. You may receive some reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan. We also accept HSA and FSA. We accept PPO insurance for our military, veteran, and LEO communities (TriCare for military spouses, TriWest for veterans, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield Federal for LEO/Border Patrol). We are also an out-of-network provider for most other PPOs. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA). Payment is due at the time of service.
Dr. Theresa Larson (aka “Dr. T”) has become one of the fitness world’s most sought after experts on movement health. Dr. Larson earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in San Diego, CA. A former Marine Corps Engineer Officer and Combat Veteran, Theresa also played professional softball in Italy as well as semi-professional softball in the United States, was an All- American Division I softball player at Villanova University, as well as a former Body-for-Life Champion. Theresa founded Movement Rx with her husband in 2013 in order to break free from the limitations that traditional physical therapy puts on practitioners and patients. The result was a company where skilled practitioners can authentically treat patients with the time, care, and movement education they deserve.
Dr. Larson is determined to deliver health to as many people as possible with her team. She is an international speaker on movement & mobility for MobilityWOD, and is the creator and lead instructor of popular Functional Training for Adaptive Athletes program. She is the author a memoir (WARRIOR) that was published in April of 2016 through Harper One, an imprint of Harper Collins, and is a co-founder of one of the cutting edge virtual rehabilitation and wellness company, Your Movement Prescription. YMP programming includes The Low Back Fix, The Knee Fix, and The Shoulder Fix.
In addition to her practice, wellness and speaking efforts, Dr. Larson is a huge advocate for Team Red White and Blue, a veteran non-profit, National Eating Disorder Association, CrossRoads Adaptive Athlete Alliance, Resiliency Project, and Challenged Athletes Foundation.
Theresa’s mission is to provide programs and education on mindset and movement self-care to the individual, the adaptive athlete, and to organizations so they can stay ahead of their health and continue to do what they love.

Dr. Megan Graff completed her doctorate in physical therapy at Texas Woman’s University in Houston. In addition to her DPT, Megan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Track & Field Level 1 Coach and is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) for her advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in working with patients with orthopedic conditions. Additionally, she completed her fellowship training (FAAOMPT) with the Institute for Athlete Regeneration in advanced sports & orthopedic manual therapy. Less than 1% of all physical therapists in the US have both the OCS and FAAOMPT designations – it’s quite a feat and speaks to Megan’s skill in manual physical therapy.
Megan grew up in Texas, enjoying a variety of sports including soccer, karate, swimming, horseback riding, and ran track in high school. She began running marathons in her second year of college and has continued competing ever since. As a therapist, strength specialist and track coach, she has a passion for working with runners looking to optimize their performance or overcome injury. Megan incorporates weightlifting, Crossfit, and yoga into her training, and enjoys anything active and outdoors including hiking, camping, surfing, SUP, and soccer.
As a part of the team at Movement Rx, Megan is dedicated to incorporating a combination of exercise, education, and manual therapy to empower her patients to achieve their goals and maximize their health.
Physical Therapy Evaluation and Treatment
This is no ordinary physical therapy experience! 1-on-1 sessions with our Doctors of Physical Therapy, focused on fixing activity-specific movement efficiencies, rehabbing athletic injuries, increasing power output and force production, and using manual therapy and active release to get movement in your joints and tissues. Price: $149 for the initial visit; $149 for an hour (Theresa); $129 for an hour (Megan)
Our wellness services focus on tuning and maintaining your movements, as well as helping you find your body’s optimal capacity. Starting with a complete screen and determination of your goals, you will meet with your Doctor of Physical Therapy monthly to perform workouts, improve range of motion, stability and mobility, and assess your movement patterns. You will also receive a set of target exercises for the month.
