Miles Thomas MS, L.Ac.

Miles Thomas MS, L.Ac. | Ginseng Yoga AcupunctureMiles is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist and has been a student of Asian Medicine, Meditation and Martial Arts for over 20 years. Miles brings with him 12 years of teaching and clinical experience in a variety settings. He received his Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky where his focus was on Religion and Biomedical Ethics. He received his Master of Science degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2001. Upon graduating from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine he formed MoXA – Asian Medicine & Bodywork, a clinical model based upon the unique integration of the traditional theories of the Thai, Chinese, and Tibetan Medical systems.

Now, back in San Diego, he splits his time between teaching and clinical practice. Chinese Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used systems of healing in the world. It is simply effective, safe, and sustainable healthcare. As acupuncture has moved more toward the mainstream of America, it has become prohibitively expensive for most people. We believe that this trend does not have to continue. I believe that acupuncture can be a part of the solution to the soaring cost of healthcare – if it is affordable and accessible to everybody. South Park Community Acupuncture makes health and wellness possible for everyone.
